KANSAS ATHLETIC TRAINERS’ SOCIETY ANNOUNCES ACADEMIC HONORS AMONGST ATHLETIC TRAINING STUDENTS FROM THE STATE OF KANSAS FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2015.
The Kansas Athletic Trainers’ Society (KATS) recognizes the following undergraduate athletic training students (ATS) who have distinguished themselves through outstanding academic achievement in accredited Athletic Training Programs in the State of Kansas.
Recipients are honored annually using the NCAA model of 1st team, 2nd team, and honorable mention designations. To be eligible for nomination, students must meet the following criteria:
1. Nominees must be fully accepted into the professional phase of their ATP.
2. Nominees must be a full time undergraduate student during both the fall and spring semester of the preceding academic year.
3. Nominees must be submitted by Program Directors from CAATE Accredited ATP’s in the State of Kansas.
4. Nominees must be rated by their Program Director at 4/5 or higher in clinical performance.
Honorees at all levels receive a Certificate of Achievement and public recognition at an annual KATS business meeting, via posting on the KATS
