Description:
Bethel College, a CAATE accredited ATEP, is seeking applications for the full-time position of Head Athletic Trainer. Bethel sponsors 13 men's and women's varsity athletic teams. Bethel is located in North Newton, KS, 30 miles north of Wichita along I-135 and is affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC), and Mennonite Church USA. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to prevention, evaluation, and treatment of athletic injuries, function as an ACI in supervision of ATEP students, record keeping, communicating with coaches and other athletic department staff, and oversight of athletic training budget.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in athletic training or related field (Masters Degree preferred)
- BOC certified for a minimum of 1 year
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts License (or eligible)
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification
Desired:
- Knowledge of CAATE accreditation
- Experience as an ACI
- Experience in a collegiate setting
